Angelie is a trial attorney with a focus on labor law for the federal government. She is past board president of the Korean American Coalition of Washington and the Asian Counseling and Referral Service, where she served on the board for nine years. Angelie is a 2nd degree black belt in tae kwon do and has recently taken Krav Maga classes with the rise in anti-Asian violence during the pandemic. Currently, Angelie has been working on the movement to get AAPI history in the K-12 curriculum. She is also a proud mom of two tween/teen boys and in her spare time, enjoys listening to podcasts, Zumba, snowboarding, and traveling to warm places with her husband. Angelie is a big fan of Cami & Tank and supporting fellow AAPI women!
